So for a long time, maybe a few years, I've felt in a slump when it came to my drawing. I had become so obsessed with the fact that there are too many artists who are much more talented than I am, and that I could never reach that level. I was jealous and bitter, and it sucked all the fun out of what I love.
For some reason, I had a burst of inspiration recently. I picked up my pencil and just started doodling, which let into drawing, inking, and coloring. And I finally remembered how much fun it was just to draw...not think about it...just draw what I like. I know that I am not God's gift to art, but it shouldn't stop me from doing it. So even if most people think it's crap, I'm going to enjoy my hobby, and draw what makes me smile ^_^.

You wish your taxis were this cool...
So I had my first vacation in Hakodate, a big city in Hokkaido. It was truly awesome.
And just to show you one of the reasons I loved Hokkaido so much:
And other cow-related paraphernalia, including the Moo-Moo Taxi. Here's the outside:
So, yeah, Hokkaido is pretty much the coolest place ever now. Not to mention the delicious food and fun times. But I'll post about that later!
