Much Too Much

When packing for a weekend-long trip, I have trouble deciding what to bring.

When packing for a year-or-more-long trip, my brain explodes.

I don't understand how some people can pack so lightly. I just have too many clothes, too many shoes, too many ridiculous hobbies....just too many. I don't like the idea that I am having trouble deciding what I need and what I "need".

We are living in a material world, and I am a material girl.

Technically I can live without a lot of my crap, but parting with it is difficult. So I'm just gonna suck it up and try to be more objective in my packing. Where is Mary Poppins when you need her?
